Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications, especially Google Apps and/or Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent keyboarding skills
- Establish and maintain filing system
- Handle confidential information
- Communicate effectively with CTE/ISD staff, local school district staff and parents
- Coordinate office procedures with other office personnel
- Able to work independently and assume responsibility
- Previous office experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Required to have a physical presence at the designated job site each scheduled work day
- Must have regular and reliable job attendance, performance and the physical ability to do the job
Performance Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries from parents, teachers, counselors, or administrators on CTE-related matters or direct questions to appropriate staff.
- Serve as the CTE Attendance contact and coordinate attendance data with local districts, CTE teachers and the CTE Coordinator.
- Maintain CTE inventory and order equipment and supplies or other items required by CTE staff and teachers.
- Monitor CTE spending by individual programs within budget lines and regularly report updates to the CTE Director.
- Facilitate monthly review and reconciliation of credit card statements, process invoices for business office payments, and coordinate professional development (PD) and reimbursement forms for CTE staff.
- Assist with maintaining student data in PowerSchool Student Information System and prepare reports (enrollment lists, attendance, grades, etc.)
- Gather and disseminate information to local districts regarding schedules, attendance, grades, and transportation needs.
- Coordinate with CTE instructors on field trips and student competitions, including permission slips, transportation arrangements and any required forms.
- Assist with coordinating CTE events, i.e., career/job fairs, exploration days, meetings, PD and training, field trips, and other special events.
- Assist with preparing and coordinating various meetings, including invitations, agendas, minutes, copies, follow-up, etc.
- Maintain a filing system, including purging out-of-date information and storing required data.
- Prepare and process student and instructor handbooks for CTE programs.
- Prepare various certificates for students, including success awards.
- Assist with state required student follow-up surveys.
- Assist in preparing CTE department for opening school year (IEPs, 504 plans, class rosters, textbooks, handbooks, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: A 220-day position. Salary and conditions of employment are determined by the Board of Education.
