Qualifications:

 

 

Performance Responsibilities:

 

  1. Respond to inquiries from parents, teachers, counselors, or administrators on CTE-related matters or direct questions to appropriate staff.
  2. Serve as the CTE Attendance contact and coordinate attendance data with local districts, CTE teachers and the CTE Coordinator.
  3. Maintain CTE inventory and order equipment and supplies or other items required by CTE staff and teachers.
  4. Monitor CTE spending by individual programs within budget lines and regularly report updates to the CTE Director.
  5. Facilitate monthly review and reconciliation of credit card statements, process invoices for business office payments, and coordinate professional development (PD) and reimbursement forms for CTE staff.
  6. Assist with maintaining student data in PowerSchool Student Information System and prepare reports (enrollment lists, attendance, grades, etc.)
  7. Gather and disseminate information to local districts regarding schedules, attendance, grades, and transportation needs.
  8. Coordinate with CTE instructors on field trips and student competitions, including permission slips, transportation arrangements and any required forms.
  9. Assist with coordinating CTE events, i.e., career/job fairs, exploration days, meetings, PD and training, field trips, and other special events.
  10. Assist with preparing and coordinating various meetings, including invitations, agendas, minutes, copies, follow-up, etc.
  11. Maintain a filing system, including purging out-of-date information and storing required data.
  12. Prepare and process student and instructor handbooks for CTE programs.
  13. Prepare various certificates for students, including success awards.
  14. Assist with state required student follow-up surveys.
  15. Assist in preparing CTE department for opening school year (IEPs, 504 plans, class rosters, textbooks, handbooks, etc.).
  16. Other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:   A 220-day position. Salary and conditions of employment are determined by the Board of Education.
